In an interview with ABS-CBN News, actress Cristine Reyes avoided talking about the libel and grave coercion charges filed against her by sister Ara Mina, but she addressed rumors that she and boyfriend Rayver Cruz are no longer together, Push.com.ph reports.
"Super okay kami ni Ray," Cristine is quoted as saying. "Ang daming nagtatanung kasi wala siya rito. Kasi trip namin ito ng mga friends ko. (Rayver and I are really okay. A lot of people are asking because he's not here. It's because this trip is for me and my friends.)" Cristine was in Boracay to relax with her close friends.
Cristine added that she was excited about seeing Rayver again--he had been in the US on the Star Magic tour until last week--and find out what gifts he'd brought home for her.
In the meantime, she said was happy to spend time with her friends. "Basta have fun lang, what they say, you only live once, so live it to the fullest."
Despite having her name embroiled in controversy, Cristine continues to achieve new highs in her showbiz career. She was recently named Box-Office Queen at the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation's 43rd Box-Office Entertainment Awards along with No Other Woman co-star Anne Curtis. "So far, iyon ang biggest achievement ko this year, so I'm very, very thankful kay God kasi hindi ko naman hiniling 'to. (So far, that's my biggest achievement this year, so I'm very, very thankful to God because I even didn't ask for this.)"
