Singer Charice is back in Manila to fulfill her duties as a mentor-judge on upcoming reality singing competition The X-Factor Philippines. In an interview with ABS-CBNNews.com, she showed off a new tattoo, which said, "I never knew true love until someone broke my heart."
"Actually it's a true story, but I'd rather not tell the story," she is quoted as saying. "I know a lot of people kapag nabasa nila 'yan makaka-relate. Again, talagang kapag naglalagay ako, may meaning. (I know a lot of people who'll be able to relate once they read that. Again, whenever I get a tattoo, there's a meaning behind it.)"
This is Charice's second tattoo. She showed off her first tattoo, which was on her left forearm and read "Love ∞ eternally," as well as her new hairstyle when she was in the Philippines in March for her Infinity concert tour.
Charice also talked about how satisfied she was with her image change. "Now that I'm being so independent, while it's early, I really, really want to tell all the people that I don't care if you hate. I don't care if you don't like it," she said.
"I'm extremely happy," she added. "Unbelievable. Like I could cry, I could cry because I'm going out in public showing my tattoo, showing my hair, showing my outfit. I feel more free."
