Actor Cesar Montano wants Anne Curtis to be his leading lady in the upcoming film about Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim.
Cesar told members of the media during a press conference on October 22 that he has already spoken to Viva executives, hoping to get the in-demand actress.
“Ang napupusuan namin siyempre ang mga asawa pa rin namin (laughs). Pero kanina, kausap ko si Vincent (del Rosario of Viva). Kinukuha ko na po si Anne Curtis (Of course we still love our wives. But a while ago, I was able to talk to Vincent. I’m trying to get Anne Curtis),” he was quoted as saying in an article on ABS-CBNNews.com.
On his end, Mayor Lim said that he does not have a preferred actress in mind to play Cesar’s love interest. “Sabi ko kay Cesar, bahala kang pumili,” he said. “Kung gusto mo si Sunshine [Cruz, Cesar's wife] kunin mo. 'Yun pala si Anne Curtis. Tanggap ko iyon. Ang akin lang masasabi, ako bilib kay Cesar (I told Cesar, the decision is up to you. If you want, you can get Sunshine. It turned out that he wants Anne Curtis. I’ll accept that. The only thing I can say is that I admire Cesar.).”
