Bea Alonzo Is Happy about Zanjoe Marudo's Intention to Marry Her

The actress is thrilled to hear her boyfriend wants to marry her in a few years. By Marianne Salazar

At the press conference for Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kyeme, PEP.ph asked actor Zanjoe Marudo if he has plans of proposing to girlfriend Bea Alonzo soon. The actor, who stars in the movie, said that while they haven’t talked about marriage yet, he and Bea both hope to get married in around five years.

In a separate interview, Bea conveyed her happiness over her boyfriend’s expressing his intention to marry her. “Mabuti naman kung ganun, at least seryoso ang relationship namin. Ako, I’m super happy with our relationship (That’s good, at least our relationship is serious. As for me, I’m super happy with our relationship),” Bea told PEP.ph.

In the meantime, though, Zanjoe said their careers will remain their top priority. “Yung utak ko, nasa pagtatrabaho ng mabuti para sa future, di ba? Para mag-ipon nang mag-ipon para may magandang future sa pamilya. Si Bey (his nickname for Bea), marami pa rin siyang trabaho. Pero actually, malapit na rin kami sa tamang edad, di ba? Sana walang mangyaring masama. (I want to work hard, so I can have a good future, right? I want to keep saving money, so I can give my family a good future. Bea also has a lot of work right now. But actually, we’re both near the right age, right? Let’s hope nothing wrong happens.)”
