Batman, kung fu, superheroes at Cartoon Network this month

Jul 16, 2008 by FN's Shar Bareng

legionofsuperheroes.jpgAs The Dark Knight continues its amazing sweep worldwide, Cartoon Network is also highlighting Christopher Nolan's first Batman flick, Batman Begins, and more Batman action along with other installments this month.

Other than Batman Begins, Cartoon Network is also showing Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman of the Future: Return of the Joker, and Batman & Mr. Freeze: Subzero. Superman and his legion of super heroes are also set to dominate the channel every weekend at 9:30 AM starting July 13.

Kids would also love Skunk Fu, which tells the story of a wise old Master Panda who must train his young student, Skunk, after an invasion by an evil dragon and ninja monkeys threaten the peaceful community of valley animals. Enjoy the adventures and laughs on weekdays at 4:30PM, beginning July 21.

Besides martial arts, future technology can also save the day! Premiering on Cartoon Network on July 13 is the all-new series Transformers: Animated, which airs at 9AM every weekend. After crash-landing on Earth, Optimus Prime and his Autobot team including Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Prowl, and Ratchet, have sworn to protect their new home from super-criminals, mad scientists, and the evil Decepticons.
