Anne Curtis Not in a Rush to Get Married

Anne Curtis says that she’s not yet ready to tie the knot with Erwan Heussaff, who has been her boyfriend for two years now.

“I know that if the time comes and I’m ready, without a doubt, yeah,” Anne was quoted as saying in an article by PEP.ph.

“But not yet now siguro. Marami akong gustong gawin, unlike before na parang 'yung mind ko was gusto kong magpakasal, gusto kong mag-baby (But maybe not now. I still want to do a lot of things, unlike before, when my mind was set on getting married and having a baby.).”

Anne said that Erwan is also not yet keen on the idea of getting married.“Kasi I think, also as someone who’s out of show business, meron din siyang sariling goals na he wants to achieve also (Because I think, also as someone who's out of show business, he has his own goals that he also wants to achieve),” she said.

“So, wala pa sa mga utak namin, which is what I love. We’re both growing as individuals and there’s no pressure na parang, okay, ilang years na (So it's not yet on our minds, which is what I love. We're both growing as individuals and there's no pressure to be like, okay, it's been how many years already [and we need to settle down].).”

When Anne was asked if there’s still anything missing in her life, she replied that though she’s looking forward to starting her own family, for now, she would rather enjoy the blessings she has received.“Eventually family, but matagal pa 'yun! Enjoying muna (Eventually [I would like to raise a] family, but that's still a long time from now! I would like to enjoy first),” she said. “I’m not rushing. I’m enjoying what I have right now and parang magiging selfish talaga to ask for more. Sobrang happy talaga ako for what I have now... Haping-happy talaga (I'm enjoying what I have right now, and I'll feel selfish if I ask for anything more. I'm really happy for what I have now... Really, really happy.). I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
