Angelica Panganiban Entertains Breakup Questions on Twitter, Derek Ramsay Reacts

On November 13, Actress Angelica Panganiban entertained questions about her breakup with fellow actor Derek Ramsay on the social media site, Twitter.

“Pwede nyo itanong sakin kahit ano.. Sasagutin ko. :) pagod na pagod na kong manahimik!!!! Game :) (You can ask me anything... I'll give you answers. I'm so tired of staying silent!!! Game :) ),” the actress tweeted. "Mag papa schedule sana ko ng interview kay tito boy. Kaso nilalagnat ako. At baka busy sya. So kayo na lang mag interview sakin (I initially planned to schedule an interview with Tito Boy [Abunda], but I have fever, and besides, he might be busy. So you guys interview me instead)," she added.

Her invitation was well-received by her Twitter fans, who instantly flooded her account. Angelica, on the other hand, gamely responded to the straightforward questions. "Napagod na ko magtiis (I got tired of putting up with him)," she replied, when asked by user @KaylaCuenca about the reason for their breakup. In another tweet, the actress also confirmed that she was the one who broke things off with Derek. Earlier this year, Derek also took to Twitter to confirm their breakup.

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, Derek revealed that as much as possible, he'd rather not comment on Angelica's Twitter posts.

"That’s Angel’s opinion, I think. There’s nothing I can do if that’s how she feels," he was quoted as saying.

"I think may tamang tao sa kanya. Kung she was with me, nagpilit o nagtitiis, I don’t think it was… (I think there's a person who's right for her. When she was with me, if she felt she had to be forced or to endure anything, I don't think it was...) There’s definitely no bad blood from my side when it comes to her. You won’t hear me speak of Angel and the relationship that she has now... You know, this Twitter thing is very new to me and I don’t think she’s doing it to badmouth me. Like I said, she was just expressing her opinion."
