As a response to recent criticisms that she’s been putting on weight,
Angel Locsin gamely
told PEP.ph that she had been bingeing on food because of stress, a common situation for
emotional eaters. Angel is aiming to get herself back on track using the
“insanity workout” exercise program, but she doesn’t believe that being thin automatically means you’re healthy.
“Well,
sa akin naman it's not an issue,”
she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph. “
(Health is what’s important to me. Please don’t say they’re ugly because I know a lot of full-figured women who have great personalities and are beautiful. Let’s be honest, we’re not all thin, are we?)"
Angel further claimed that she preferred being healthy to being skinny. "
(I don’t believe in being so thin that you don’t eat anymore. That’s not healthy. I have to look like I can lift a guy. That’s my character. Maybe I’ve just gotten healthier.)”

anyway i love iza calzado and kc concepcion sa mga nafeature na local artistes.
And I agree with what Angel said, "Hindi naman kasi ako nanininwala sa sobrang payat, na hindi na kumakain. Hindi na healthy 'yon." I know a lot of girls who are so thin but still they call themselves fat and still wants to be thinner.
As for me, I was a football player before kaya I have thin waist and a lean body. But I've stopped so I gained weight. Still, I love my body. I don't have to throw up my food after every meal. That's seriously insane.
Ehra Madrigal, on the other hand, is sooooo heavy now. I just saw her in I Heart You Pare. she's soooo overweight!
I'd like to believe that loving your body means taking care of it through exercise and proper diet (i.e. choosing healthy food) and not mistaking fat for voluptuous. I cheer on girls who take the effort to keep a healthy body!
