Angel Locsin, who is famous for her voluptuous figure, has lost a lot of weight for her new movie. The actress is currently filming One More Try, which is Star Cinema’s entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival. She stars alongside Angelica Panganiban and Dingdong Dantes.
She talked about her weight loss strategies in an interview with PEP.ph and revealed that she only works out whenever she has a project. "Alam niyo naman ako, kapag may project, saka naghahanda (You know me, I only work out whenever I have a project)," she said.
"Nag-workout, diet din kahit papaano... minsan takbo. Madali kasi akong ma-bore. Madaling masanay ang katawan ko. Kapag runong-runungan na ako, minsan nabibitawan ko na (I work out, I go on a diet, and I run sometimes. But I get bored easily. My body gets used to routines quickly, and when I feel like I can do it I sometimes let go of my routine.)."
Angel, who previously admitted to being averse to vegetables, also proudly revealed that she eats salad now. "Hindi kasi ako naggu-gulay, di ba? Ngayon, maipagmamalaki ko lang, nakakapag-salad na ako (I used to avoid eating vegetables, right? Now, I can proudly say that I eat salad)!"
