What would you do the first time you saw your ex after a bad breakup? Actress and model Andi Eigenmann threw wine in ex-boyfriend Albie Casiño’s face when they encountered each other in a Makati bar in the wee hours of the morning on Saturday, May 5, PEP.ph reports. Following this incident, it was reported that Albie was assaulted outside the bar, and that someone, allegedly Andi’s friends, hit the actor over the head with a bottle.
“It was my first time seeing him face to face,” Andi is quoted as saying on PEP.ph. “He gave me a bad look, and I felt really bad. I thought I have moved on but because of the incident wounds of the past came back.”
But Andi denies any knowledge of the brawl that followed. “I admit that out of impulse, I threw wine on his face, and the next thing I heard was he was being beaten up outside.” She added, “I was inside when it happened.”
The actress went on to say that it was understandable that her ex-boyfriend believed she was behind the attack. “I believe it should be acceptable for him to accuse me of such a thing, but I honestly don’t have anything to do with it.”
Andi and Albie had been together for two years before their breakup in 2011 amid rumors of physical abuse and cheating. After Andi’s pregnancy was confirmed later in the year, the actress named Albie as her baby’s father in a blog post before editing the entry to remove the actor's name. Albie has not acknowledged baby Adrianna Gabriellie, who was born in November 2011, as his child.
PEP.ph reports that Albie’s parents were in Subic at the time of the incident, but that they will be filing a complaint upon their return to Manila.
