Andi Eigenmann Still Going Out with Jake Ejercito

Actress Andi Eigenmann is welcoming 2012 not just with baby Elle, but with her love life in full bloom, ABS-CBNNews.com reports. The young mom, who gave birth in November, said in an interview on Kris TV that she was still dating Jake Ejercito, son of former president Joseph Estrada.

Jake is currently studying abroad, but the two continue to go out whenever he's in the country. “Alam naman ng lahat ‘yon eh [na I’m going out with Jake]," she said. "Nahirapan lang ako to be open about it kasi ayaw ko siyang madamay doon sa isyu before, but now pwede ko naman na sabihing, yeah, [we’re dating]. (I had problems being open about it before because I didn't want him to get involved in the issue, but now I can say, yeah, we're dating.)"

Andi said the two of them just enjoyed each other's company and that she wasn't asking anything of him. "We're just taking our time. We don't need to rush anything. We're both young."

She also said she liked him because he wasn't judgmental. "He knows that I feel lucky to have him,” she is quoted as saying. “Sa parents pa nga lang hindi na ganoon kadaling tanggapin, paano pa kaya in our age magkakagusto ka sa mayroon nang baby? (It's hard enough for parents to accept [that their daughter is a young mom]. Won't it be even harder for someone our age to like someone who already has a baby?) "

Andi's mom, Jaclyn Jose, who was with her on Kris TV, said she also approved of Jake. "Nang dumating si Elle, naandiyan pa rin siya (Even when baby Elle was born, he continued being there)," she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph.
