AJ Perez passed away on
April 17 at 12:20 AM after sustaining
“multiple head injuries” from a
vehicular accident while on the way back to Manila from a provincial show,
PEP.ph reports.
In an article on ABS-CBNNews.com, police said the victim's van tried to overtake a trailer truck, which resulted in it colliding with an incoming passenger bus. AJ was immediately rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Meanwhile, the other passengers, including AJ’s father, were
also injured and admitted for treatment. The 18-year-old AJ, who was the lead actor in the recently concluded TV series
Sabel, tweeted a message of thanks to his fans before the accident. “On the way home already from Dagupan. Long drive ahead.. Thanks to everybody who watched, thanks to zui for the gifts. And hi again to jarred!”
he said.

La Salle Greenhills in San Juan, and the public viewing lasts until noon today,
