The country's Superstar, Nora Aunor, is celebrating her birthday today, May 21. She may be 59 this year, but she continues to wow the audience whenever she's onstage, whether she's crooning classics in her soothing voice or evoking a plethora of expressions while acting.
Ate Guy's showbiz career is the stuff made of legends. During the late 60s and well into the 70s, the Philippines was hit with "Noramania." PEP.ph reports that, during the height of her career, she had to shuttle to and from sets in helicopters, hide in safes, and even employ doubles to escape her hordes of avid fans.
