Filipino-Mexican Jessica Sanchez has certainly given Filipinos all over the globe a lot to be proud about. The petite American Idol finalist wowed both the audience and the judges with her impressive vocals, earning her a much-deserved spot in the show’s finale. Though she lost the crown to crooner Philip Phillips, she still won the hearts of a lot of Pinoys, who have welcomed her with open arms during her first visit to the Philippines for the Asian leg of the American Idol tour.
After the Idol concert on September 21, Jessica stayed in the country for a few more days to learn more about her roots and to fulfill some endorsement obligations, including her introduction to the media as the newest face for local clothing brand Bench.
